I'm new to fishing what are some of the basics? Thank you?

i got the rod/reel, got the lure (which is the main hook right?) and leaders (idk what those are meant for but they got tinny hooks) bobbers (to see where my line is?) and sinkers. How do i put them all together to make one functioning fishing pole? idk how to put it all together! thank you if u can help
