Should I go see my family?

I live with my boyfriend and we just had a baby. I live in MI 4 hours form my family in Detroit and my Dad is coming to visit form CA for a couple weeks. Can you turn in a landlord?

I am renting a 2bed 2bath 1 car garage and small.... tinny back yard. There are so many things that are wrong in this place. For one, you can stick you hand on the floor by the back door and stick it out side. The wood has rotted out. We sent in a work order for it and all she ordered was a door not a new frame or anything. I am wanting to know is there anyone I can contact and have come in and look at everything and help us get everything fixed. Our gas bill is about $140 or higher a month and we keep it about 60 in here. During the summer our electric is about 200 and we keep it at 75 to save on money. We can't put anything on the windows and can't have any window units. We had to have the AC unit that is inside, whatever it is called, replaced last summer b/c it flooded the 2nd bedroom.And it took about a week to get it done! We are looking for a new place put locked in a year contract. Any suggestion would be great!

I know you're super biased against California, but I strongly encourage you to consider San Francisco. It's nothing like the southern California in the movies - it really should be another state. Northern California doesn't get as hot (quite a bit of it gets snow in the winter) and it's super liberal and would be a great place for a communications major. It may not be Los Angeles, but it has a great cultural and artsy scene that rivals and in some way betters that of Hollywood.

Can I do anything if a cop caused me documented mental trauma?

About 6 months ago, A friend of mine asked to use my checking account to deposit a check from his family because he didn't have an i.d. I had asked friends of mine to do the same thing for me when I was working and a teenager (I didn't get an i.d. until I turned 18.) Unfortunately for me the check was fraudulent something I hadn't expected my friend was into. (I know this was stupid... duh. but my husband really trusted him and we didn't think being his friends he would do something like that in OUR account) 2 cops came and questioned me. At first they thought I was an accomplice since he used my account. Eventually they put me down as a victim of check fraud and brought charges against him. But for 2 hours they believed I was an accomplice and they used a scare tactic to try and get me to confess knowledge I didn't have. I have a documented anxiety disorder which causes me severe panic attacks. I feel like I'm having a heart attack and it feels like I'm dieing. Aside from being extremely scary it's physically painful as well. My heart races so fast it feels like one continuous beat; like it's not beating at all it burns and I feel a stabbing in the left side of my chest it's intense and overwhelming. At this point I gasp and gasp for the tinniest bit of labored breath I can get and it feels like being trapped underwater. In this paticular case I was also crying because they had told me over and over I was going to jail for a felony I didn't commit. I understand why they did it it's a tactic to get you to confess something about the other guy if you did do it, but I didn't know anything to confess. This was the worst panic attack I ever had. I hyperventilated and had to breath into a bag. My head got light and floaty and my body went pins and needles like it fell asleep and I knew I was about to pass out. At that point they called paramedics but later recalled them before they arrived because I was able to get some of my wind back and didn't faint. My reaction was so strong infact, that one of the officers accused me of being on speed. I asked him what that meant and his whole reasoning was no one should react like that that I may be "a little scared but nobody reacts like that, I've never seen it." Of course I wasn't on drugs (and I have my own theory that he would have been more sympathetic if I was clean cut and dressed up like I am in the office instead of my booty short pajamas and a baggy shirt but thats a side theory.) Anyway, Eventually they realized I didn't know anything and told me to get in touch with a detective. The detective was the opposite. He was so compassionate and about finding the truth not just a bad guy. The police showed up and wanted to arrest somebody; case closed, finger someone, haul em to jail and thats it. It's over. But the detective took his time and analyzed the case. He talked to witnesses and got the atm surveilance footage. He was just looking for the truth not a bad guy to put away and eventually all the charges were brought against him. It turned out he did it to alot of people he befriended in our area. Since then, my anxiety disorder has gotten more severe than it ever was before. Before it was documented as mild now it is so severe it's completely unmanagable. I no longer Know when I'm about to go into an attack. There are no triggers I can watch for. The attacks come out of nowhere now. For no reason. Before they only came if I was already scared or nervous about something. Now they just come all the time with no warning. Before I had about 3 anxiety attacks a year. Now I get them at least that many times a week. And, every time I see a police car it triggers a panic attack. Do I have any legal standing for a civil case; if so what would it be for? Can I file a complaint at his department? Will that do any good or just "get lost" ? Will they retaliate and find something to get me in trouble for whenever they see me? Will this bring my life into scrutiny? PLEEEEEEAAASSSEE HEEEEELLLP!!!

Why is it that I still feel anxious even after overcoming my shyness?

I've had anxiety issues my whole life, and have been shy up until this year. I've begun to socialize with people a bit more, expanding beyond my comfort zone and getting more involved in the broader community at school. But I still don't feel happy! I still get really anxious and go through fits of depression. I still feel awkward around large groups of people. And I still feel like the odd one out. Why is that? Shouldn't being more accepted socially have a positive effect on my anxiety? Why is it no better?

I need some information on swimming?

I am thinking about joining the swim academy at my high school for freshman year. In academy they teach you how to play the sport, and that will be beneficial considering I know practically nothing about it and I can't swim all that great. But the only thing is I am concerned on how it will impact my thighs and shoulders.. I mean I know its excersize and its one of the best excersizes you can do, but I already have somewhat large thighs and broad shoulders, its not really muscle, I just have a higher body fat percentage. around 32%.. And I hear that they also have like no boobs as well. I don't really find that feminine, I dont want to look like a man!!! Please help!! I have just purchased a nice small tv for my kitchen but the only downside is with it being small is that the sound is `tinny`. It is like the sound is coming from a little tin box--no bass, tinny treble--we have adjusted, or tried , the bass, etc levels, they dont even change when adjusting--we've tried running it thru the Xbox, and the cable-It's an HD ready TV, but we dont have HD service. I do however use an HDMI cord on my liv room set, and it helps the picture a LOT--maybe the sound too?idk, guess I'm assuming. So we tried the HDMI cord on the new set and it didnt help at all--any suggestions??

Unique chord progressions in F minor?

im stuck. Ive come up with a few myself. My observation and I think this is racist (I do not think you are). I have seen black cops with braided hair protuding out of their hats. I have seen it with all assets of law enforcement agencies including Security. When I was a Security Officer I was told I had to cut my locks (I had beautiful long hair) but the black officer was able to keep his. My hair was always well kept (My wife was a hairdresser). How can I get taller before my "growth" finally ends?

I'm 5'4" - 5'5" not sure, I'm 16 almost 17, I try my best to eat healthy and sleep right and I try to exercise well. What exercises, foods, and drinks in general should I have to help get taller. I'm more broad shouldered than my dad, shorter too, I weigh on average 198 (Muscle n Fat combined) I take Karate and MMA so I do get good exercise, I'm barely taller then my mom (who's at least 5'3") But my dad is 5'6" maybe a little taller. How to fix a half broken soundcard?

Sounds like the output of the audio card might be messed up or "jarred" a little. Mine does this, but only through the headphone jack, not the balanced speaker output jack. All I have to do to fix it is jostle the headphone input a little and it goes back to normal. What seems to be happening is that the audio phase gets messed up and thus cancels out certain frequencies in the mid-range, like vocals. What you could do is open up your audio interface or remove your sound card and clean the internals with high potency rubbing alcohol. Let it dry and reinstall it, including the drivers if it makes you feel better. If this doesn't work, you may want to re-solder your output connections to the circuit board so that there are clean and solid solder points. Otherwise, it may be time for a new sound card. I wear size 6 or 8 pants, medium shirt, and 6 or 8 dress. I have decided the past three days that I am not going to eat a lot which is shocking because I am like addicted to food. On the first day I had an Oreo pop tart (my splurge), a glass of milk, and a fourth cup of miso soup. The next day I had a 2 small as in like tinny blueberry muffin, about a cup of white rice cooked and a tiny bit of chicken (grilled) and by tiny I mean like about a 1/5 of a regular chicken breast. Today I have a taco with meat, and cheese on it. I been trying to skip lunch which isn't exactly healthy to me but I just wanted my body to eat of the fat. I don't think I am going to eat anything else today. Am I not being healthy to my body. If I am, suggest some diet that allows my body to burn of there fat and good exercise routines.

I have laminate "wood" flooring, there is a small, very small corner that has come up. I dont think it has gotten wet, I think that as the house settled (new house) it seperated a tinny bit. I've tried everything! But I still can't seem to gain weight!?

I'm 16, and I have been trying for years to gain weight. I have always been skinny and I feel really self concious about it. If they are using the copper infrastructure, then you need to get them to ping your T-Hub, as the infrastructure can be faulty ok for voice bit not high speed data? Or ask them if they can run a "bit error rate package" ? My guess is they won't know how to do it? the ideat is to run the tedt from your PC and see if the "errors" received are within tolerance, theoretically there shoud be none, but we haven't got fibre in every home in OZ yet? Screen door driving me nuts !!!!!?

We had a new screen door installed a few months ago. It makes a dreadful clangy sound when it closes. We have adjusted the cylinder but that it is not the problem. The actual locking mechanism has a very tinny sound. The manufacturer has told us that this is the only type of lock they make. What can we do? Well for about 9 months now ive had these 2 things on my penis.
