If the paint is just cracked (but the plastic bumper is fine) you can expect to pay a body shop around 175-250 to respray the bumper, since your deductable is probably 500$ and making a claim would make your insurance go up, you are definitely better paying out of pocket. If the bumper itself is cracked, add another 250-350 for the cost of the bumper. I would still pay out of pocket in that case.
